He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth A. Settlemyer and Anna C. Settlemyer (Tomson); his wife Jo'an E. Settlemyer; his sister Dr. Constance Settlemyer; his brother-in-law Raymond Koerber; and his nephew Curt Settlemyer.
He is survived by: his sons, Kenneth Jr. Settlemyer (Heather), Jonathan Settlemyer (Romy) and Timothy Settlemyer (Sara); his grandchildren, Shandra Lin and Kenneth Ian; his brother Bernard W. Settlemyer; and his siblings-in-law, Roian Koerber and Dr. Chick O. Empfield (Ethel).
Family will provide flowers and suggest memorial contributions in his name be made to either Grace Lutheran Church or a charity of one's choice.
