He was predeceased by: his parents, John J. Jovan and Katherine Ross; his wife Janet; and his sisters, Mary Braim and Darlene Wallen.
He is survived by: his children, John J. Jovan (Robin) of Jersey Shore and Kathy S. Allen (Mark) of Lock Haven; his siblings, Bob Bertin (Kathy) of Avis, Phyllis J. Williams of Jersey Shore and Sue Sallot of Edinboro; and his close friend Cathy L. Ward. He is also survived by four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
