With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Joseph E. Gannon (Jersey Shore, Pennsylvania), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Joseph left this world on February 17, 2025 at the age of 64, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Jamie Young, Stacey Rearick (Jesse Rearick), Tina Gannon and Keith Chaplain; his siblings, Rita Misal, Donna Gannon, Patty Hershey, Susan Fiske (Mike Fiske), Helen O'Donnell (Timothy O'Donnell), Irvin Gannon Jr. and Rufus Gannon (Lori Gannon); the mother of his children Julie Gannon; and his parents, Irvin R. Gannon Sr. and Rita I. Szymendera. He was also cherished by his eleven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Frederick B. Welker Funeral Home (125 N Main St, Jersey Shore, PA 17740). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you spend time with your loved ones, cheer a little louder at a game, or plant something in his honor-just as Joe would have wanted.
