She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter John Sainbury and Minnie Rose; her siblings, Chesley, Jabez, Edith and Ida Doris; her daughters-in-law, Kim Dougherty and Denise Dougherty; and her siblings-in-law, Fledabelle J. Cohick and Lavern Nelson.
She is survived by: her husband Elery Newton "Newt" Dougherty; her sons, John M. Dougherty of Lock Haven, Richard A. Dougherty (Diane) of Pottstown and Howard L. Dougherty of Pottstown; her brother Berkley Sainbury of Pouch Cove; and her brothers-in-law, Ken Eugene Dougherty and Robert Lee Dougherty. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.
