She was predeceased by: her husband John J. Bixel; her parents, Edward Slaterbeck and Lena Slaterbeck (Fidler); her siblings, Nevin Lamey, Leotta Schrack and Anna Mae Witherite; and her siblings-in-law, Robert Bixel and Phyllis Bixel.
She is survived by: her children, Lisa D. Karney (Edward) of Jersey Shore, PA and Michael J. Bixel of Jersey Shore, PA; and her sisters, Joann Cole of Virginia, Sandy Wagner (Vaughn) of Loganton and Diane Slaterbeck of Williamsport, PA. She is also survived by grandson, a great granddaughter, a step granddaughter and will be missed by many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
