She was predeceased by: her parents, Col. Russel L. Thomas and Lara "Sally" Thomas (Cooper); and her granddaughter Randi Lea Peters. She is survived by: her children, Vicki D. Sutton (Richard W.) of Jersey Shore and Thomas E. Whitman (Cathy) of New Cumberland; and her grandchildren, Heather N. Peters-Bilbay (Jason) of Lock Haven, Amanda R. Peters of Lock Haven, Benjamin P. Peters (Savannah) of Beech Creek, Ahren T. Whitman (Chelsea) of Cranberry Township and Tayler K. Whitman of Williamsport. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
