It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alford M. Nelson Jr. (Jersey Shore, Pennsylvania), who passed away on September 10, 2019, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alford M. Nelson Sr. and Ada Frye; and his brother Glenn Nelson. He is survived by: his wife Sylvia E. Evans; his children, Kyle Nelson (Shelley) of Bastress, Melanie Palski (David) of Jersey Shore and Julie Mease (Jim) of Grampian; his grandchildren, Melissa Yetter (Dave), Britany Nelson, Sarah Nelson, Dakota Nelson, Ryan Palski, Derrick Palski and Jared Palski; his great grandchildren, Easton and Braxton Yetter; his siblings, Ed Nelson (Glenda), Fred Nelson (Carol) and Mary Rager (Dennis); and his sister-in-law Sandy Beaver.
