He was predeceased by: his parents, John W. Konieczny and Helen Konieczny (Rachocki); his wife Betty Konieczny; and his siblings, Helen Bieniasz, Jennie Pitchford, Kathleen "Tootie" Granistosky, John and Eugene.

He is survived by: his children, Todd, Eric (Jennifer), Adah, Orly and Maren; and his sister-in-law Jeanne Konieczny. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

The family asks donations in Bob's memory be made to Jerome Volunteer Fire Company in his memory P.O. Box 425 Jerome PA 15937.
