He is survived by: his wife Sally Hemmler (Shimkus); his daughter Michelle Battle (Patrick) of Jermyn, PA; his grandchildren, Kayci, Jordan, Nolan McEathron and Valarie Battle; his siblings, Deborah of Moosic, PA and Mark of Greenfield Township, PA; and his pet Bandit.
