He was predeceased by: his parents, Elwood C. and Mary E. Bowman (Trout); and his siblings, Shirley Frampton and Bryan Bowman. He is survived by: his wife Carol A. Bowman (Firestone); his sons, Daniel Bowman (Lori) and Kevin Bowman (Anastasia); his stepchildren, David Allgood (Jessica), Charles Allgood (Angie) and Melissa Bishop (Stephen); and his brothers, Bill (Chris) and Rick (Robin). He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren.
