He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hayes and Helena Hayes (Janecki); and his siblings, John, Raymond, Joseph, Robert, William, Helen and Christina.
He is survived by: his former wife Christina Redepenning; his children, Diane Benham [Rob], Douglas Hayes [Jeanie] and Karen Hayes; his wife Deborah Day McKay; and his sons, Christopher and Michael. He is also survived by his three children and two stepchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in Harry's name to Disabled American Veterans.
