Assunta was predeceased by: parents, Petro Cozzella and Juliette Cozzella; husband George T.; daughter Georgiann; and son-in-law Robert Long.

Assunta is survived by: children, Anna (Joe Dabbs), Mike, Tina (Randy Beistel), Michelle Long and Jenner Crossroads; grandchildren, Jennifer Croyle, Joey Dabbs, Joshua, Jordan Beistel, Lauren, Lindsay and Luke Long; great grandchildren, Gage, Zachory Schaut and Gianna Long; and sister Theresa Blanchette. Assunta is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
