He is survived by: his parents, John Rigney and Josephine Rigney; his wife Mary Eileen Rigney; his siblings, James Rigney and Patricia Schaum; his children, Eileen Dougherty (Chris), Sharon Katope (Chris), Kathryn Rigney, Thomas Rigney (Richard Gagliardi) and Stacy Rigney; his grandchildren, Andrew Dougherty (Amy) and Christopher Milen King Katope; and his great grandchildren, Gavin Dougherty and Owen Dougherty.
