He was predeceased by: his wife Eleanor M. "Ellie"; and his parents, John Loughney and Margaret Loughney. He is survived by: his children, Beth Stieritz (Kurt), Bob (Tricia), Amy Bytof (Brian) and Pat (Mary Eléna); his sister Carol Loughney; and his sister-in-law Ann Brennan.
