He was predeceased by: his parents, Carol Furlong and Robert J. Furlong. He is survived by: his wife Shelia Ann; his son Sean Michael; his siblings, Robert J. Jr. (Cindy), Nancy Furlong, Thomas (Nancy) and Patrick; and his parents-in-law, Patrick Tobin (Maureen) and Maureen O'Callaghan. He is also survived by 13 nieces and nephews.
