He was predeceased by: his sister Alma Ligato; and his parents, Hazel Trotman (Whitcomb) and Charles Metzger Trotman. He is survived by: his wife Katherine C. Trotman (Rehiel); his children, John Ralph Trotman Jr. (Kate) and Sharon Bujcs (Jay); his grandchildren, Aiden and Kelsie Bujcs; and his siblings, Anna Records, Robert, Charles and Harry Trotman.
