He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Carrie Lee; his parents, Carol Warzecha Cortese and Charles S. Cortese; his friend Coors Light; his children, Jason Charles Cortese (Aireyal), Jessica Elizabeth Cortese and Caiden Fick; his sisters, Teri Fusaro (Joseph) and Melissa Zuraski (Shaun); his parents-in-law, Peter and Ellen Lee; his siblings-in-law, Margi Harney (Judy) and Corey Lee (Kate); his godfather Bob Warzecha; his uncle Salvatore; his pet Barley; and his grandparents, John, Pearl Warzecha, Paul, Lucy Cortese and Old Forge. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, cousins, uncles and aunts.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his memory to the donor's choice of charity.
