He was predeceased by: his mother Josephine; his sister Leona Connolly; and his nephew John Connolly. He is survived by: his wife Diane; and his son Christopher Gruss (Joan, family: Victoria, Quinn, Tommy). He is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and his chosen family.
