He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Tognarini and June Tognarini (Sonetta); his wife Wanda L. Tognarina (Smith); and his brothers, Joseph R. and Janison Tognarine.

He is survived by: his children, Michelle L. Tognarina of Ross Twp and Bryon J. Tognarina (Brooke) of North Huntingdon; his grandchildren, Heather, Anthony, Angelina, Caleb and Michael; his brothers, Jerome A. Tognarine of Cape Coral, FL, Jay Tognarini (Cathy) of Elizabeth and Juan Tognarini (Adrie) of Coulter; and his sisters-in-law, Kathleen Tognarine of Forward Twp and Jean Smith of Jefferson Hills.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home (221 N 2nd Ave, Elizabeth, PA 15037). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Michael Church (101 McLay Dr, Elizabeth, PA 15037).
