He was predeceased by: his parents, Regina Czerwinski (Grabowski) and Bernard Czerwinski; his sister Gail Herghelegiu; and his parents-in-law, Arturo and Ida Velez.
He is survived by: his wife Diana M. (Velez); his children, Kelli McGarrity (Danny) and Eric Czerwinski (Jessica); his grandchildren, Evelyn, Lyla, Daniel McGarrity Jr., Alexandra and Nathanael Czerwinski; his sisters, Phyllis Mazzeo (Terry), Sandra Snyder and Patricia Capaldi (Rocky); and his sisters-in-law, Hilda Velez and Anne Wendt (Lawrence). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the Czerwinski family would prefer donations be made to the ALS Foundation.
