He was predeceased by: his parents, David S. Pershing and Rose Pershing (Telesfore); his wife Katherine Pershing (Barton); and his siblings, Sandra Davis, Lucy Thompson, Edgar and John Pershing.
He is survived by: his sons, David F. Pershing of Blaine Hill, Robert K. Pershing (Elizabeth) of Irwin and Mark A. Pershing (Carolyn) of Springboro; his grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Mark and Cassidy Pershing; his great grandchild Dalia; and his brothers, Richard of Blaine Hill and Bill Pershing of Blaine Hill. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
