He is survived by: his sons, Donald Macek (Danielle) of Elizabeth and Walter Hart Macek of Pittsburgh; his grandson Wyatt Owen Macek; his close friend Lisa Hart; his siblings, Donna Medlock (Fred) and Joseph Macek (Michelle); and his nieces and nephews, Matthew Swenderman, Joe Macek (Melanie), Lauren Skrainy (Steve) and Kimberly Pusateri (Bret).
