He was predeceased by: his wife Kathleen A. Taucher (Kuisis); and his brother John H. Taucher II. He is survived by: his child Ryan P. Taucher (Noelle); his stepson Eric Hamilton; his grandsons, Xavier and Nolan; and his sibling Letticia Palmer (David). He is also survived by nieces and many cousins.

If desired, the family requests donations in Peter's name to Jefferson United Presbyterian Church.
