Melva Tranchini Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melva Tranchini (Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania), born in New York, New York, who passed away on December 5, 2019, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Mirkovich and Zorka Mirkovich Check (Terzich); and her sister Nedra Drobac. She is survived by: her husband Joseph Tranchini; her children, Leslie Thomas (Johnathan) of Arlington, VA and Joseph Tranchini (Carla) of Jefferson Hills; and her grandchildren, Nicole Muhr (Daniel), Bryan Wish, Alexandra and Laura Tranchini. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorial donations in Cookie's name be made to either the Serbian Kola Sisters, c/o Holy Trinity S.O. Church, 450 Maxwell Dr., Pittsburgh, PA 15236 or St. Jude's Hospital, 501 St. Jude's Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
