He was predeceased by: his parents, Franklin C. Simmen, Sr. and Dorothy Simmen (Petrovich). He is survived by: his wife Maureen E. "Reenie" Simmen (Kohn); his sons, Nick Simmen and William Simmen (Jocelyn); and his siblings, Sharon Lang (John) and Al Simmen (Marcia). He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Griffith Funeral Home, Inc. (5636 Brownsville Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15236). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
