He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward O. Porter and Mary Withers Porter (Champion). He is survived by: his wife Barbara J. Withers (Black); his children, Lori Nicholson of Chatham, VA, Holly Slavin (Jeff) of Painesville, OH, Jill Withers of Columbus, OH and Mark E. Withers (Mary Jo Wagner) of Elizabeth; and his sister Mary Lou Kline of Strongsville, OH. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; also, nieces, nephews and cousins.
