He was predeceased by: his parents, Sherly Verna and Daniel Verna; and his sister Melanie. He is survived by: his children, Daniel Verna (Stephanie), Crystal White (William), Heather Wallace (Kevin) and Kaci Lewis; his grandchildren, Danny Verna, Joey Verna, Schyler Verna, Cheyenne White, Rileigh White, Rosie Wallace and Lylah Wallace; and his siblings, Richard, Keith and Daria.
