He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Gobbie and Antoinette Gobbie (Benedetto); and his siblings, Dr. Richard L. Gobbie and Gloria DeCarlo. He is survived by: his wife Loretta Gobbie (Frascarelli); his children, Arthur J. Gobbie, Jr. (Lynne) of Bethel Park, Michael Gobbie (Christine) of Glassport, Carla Tranchini (Joseph) of Jefferson Hills and Paul Gobbie (Lisa) of Bethel Park; his grandchildren, Nicholas Gobbie (Ashley), Matthew Gobbie, Michael Gobbie, Mark Gobbie, Carly Gobbie, Alexandra Fickley (Matthew) and Laura Tranchini; his great grandchild Casey Fickley; and also Bocce.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM and from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the A. J. Bekavac Funeral Home (555 N 5th St, Clairton, PA 15025). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Thomas a Becket Church (139 Gill Hall Rd, Jefferson Hills, PA 15025). A burial will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Jefferson Memorial Park (401 Curry Hollow Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15236).
Donations can be made in his name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Light of Life Rescue Mission.
