It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vera L. Steele (Jeannette, Pennsylvania), who passed away on December 31, 2021, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, D. Robert Miller and Mary Miller (Bossart); her husband Earl M. Steele; her son Timothy R. Steele; her siblings, Kenneth G. Miller and Shirley M. Hawk (Robert Pershing Sr.); and her stepdaughter Barbara Power.
She is survived by: her children, Earlene Sano (Ross) of Latrobe, Eric J. Steele (Donna) of Harrison City and Carolyn Krall (Bill) of Latrobe; her daughter-in-law Pat Steele of Greenville; her stepson Robert Pershing Jr. of Greensburg; her grandchildren, Kristin Singley, Scott Saxton, Amy Ansel, Jason Steele, Jeremy Steele, Greg Krall and Dan Krall; and her sisters-in-law, Marie Miller of Greensburg and Edna Martinella of Forest, VA. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
The family asks that all visitors wear masks.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the donor's favorite charity.
