She was predeceased by: her parents, William Smail and Edna Smail (Daugherty); her husband William Connolly; her children, Cheryl Huffman, Eleanor Dyer, Leslie Smail and Richard Underwood; and her siblings, Romaine Smail and Gerald Smail.
She is survived by: her children, Walter "Bud" Underwood (Kathy) of Jeannette, Carol Underwood (Willis Parker) of Greensburg and Jolene Oravec (Mike) of Latrobe; her daughter-in-law Bonnie Smail of Penn; her brothers, Milton Smail (Sandy) and Tracy Smail (Sandy); and her stepchildren, William Connolly (Debbie) of Latrobe and Patricia Kuchta (Jim) of Derry. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, numerous great great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to St. Labre School 1000 Tongue River Rd. Ashland, MT 59003.
