With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Thomas Gimbus (Jeannette, Pennsylvania), born in East Liverpool, Ohio, who passed away on August 3, 2019 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Steven Gimbus and Helen Kovalesky Gimbus; and his daughter Jeanne Modany. He is survived by: his wife Jeannette Gentile Gimbus; his children, Donna Aeppli of Philadelphia and Marty Gimbus (Mary Jo) of Ohioville; his stepsons, John Kazman (Christine) of Midland and Anthony Kazman (Helena) of Seattle, Washington; his siblings, Walter Gimbus, Stephanie Sosack (George), Eleanor Galloway (Bobby) and Janet Diamond (Bob); his grandchildren, D. J. Aeppli, Jamie Stiffey (Ty), Kelli Zachodni (Zach), Tiffany Bartoles, Laura Knisley (Ryan), Sara Kazman and John Kazman III; and his great grandchildren, Brantley, Beau Knisley, Evan Zachodni, Maddie and Ben Stiffey. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
