She was predeceased by: her parents, John Higgins and Mary Higgins; her husband Ronald N. Metz; her siblings, Jessie Jones and Charles Higgins; and her grandson Brennan Metz.
She is survived by: her children, Ronald W. Metz (Linda) of Hempfield Township and Cynthia L. Metz of Jeannette; her grandchildren, Dane Metz (Jessica) of Lemoore, CA., Jerrod Metz (Shannon Kelly) of Port Ritchie, FL., Keara Lowery (Mark) of Jeannette and Alexandra Metz of Jeannette; her great grandchildren, Molly, Nico, Owen, Kaidence, Maleiyah, Ava and Jade; her sister Hazel Steigerwald of Ashtabula, Ohio; her brother-in-law Kerry Metz (Eilene) of South Hadley, Mass; and her pet Abby. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
