He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Bishop and Beatrice Frycklund Bishop; his wife Sarah N. Saltzman Bishop; his grandson Adam F. Bishop; and his sister Elizabeth "Betty" Michaux.
He is survived by: his sons, James Bishop (Barbara) of Olney, MD., Frederick Bishop (Theodora) of Greensburg, Jeff Bishop (Karen) of Greensburg and Edward Bishop (Renee) of Ellicott City, MD.. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
