He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Knauss (Koch); and his children, Tina Knauss of Irwin, Richard Irvin Knauss Jr. of Jeannette, Darren Michael Knauss (Lisa Marie) of Hempfield Twp and Stephanie Ann Knauss (Chris Lee Barber) of Jeannette. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
