He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony J. Jupena and Helen O'Rosky Jupena; his former wife Vivian L. Bowman Jupena; his son-in-law Richard Krohn; and his siblings-in-law, Frank Faulk and Jan Jupena.
He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Crescenzo Jupena; his children, Ellen E. Krohn, Denise A. Grabowski (Bob) of Jeannette, Dawn Irwin (Bob) of Jeannette, Darcy Magrini (Tom) of Jeannette and Richard Jupena, Jr. (Kevin) of Jeannette; his siblings, Frances Faulk of Jeannette, Anthony Jupena of Jeannette and John "Mopey" Jupena (Margie) of Jeannette; and his pets, Harley and Aylwin. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren.
