Phyllis J. Birk Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 10, 2024, at the age of 84, Phyllis J. Birk (Jeannette, Pennsylvania) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Phyllis J. Birk to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Kratovil and Mary Kratovil; and her grandson Paul Lucas. She is survived by: her siblings, Dianne Johnston (Richard), Ed Kratovil (JoAnne), Mary Lou Erk (Fred), Sherry Hay (Lew) and Terry Kratovil (Jeanette); her daughter Michele Rubin (Sam); and her granddaughter Malka. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Mason-Gelder Funeral Home, Inc. (201 N 1st St, Jeannette, PA 15644). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Church (504 Cowan Ave, Jeannette, PA 15644). A burial was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Twin Valley Memorial Park (483 Athena Dr, Delmont, PA 15626).
In lieu of flowers the family wishes donations be made to Brain & Behavior Research Foundation or American Stroke Association .
