She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Apelquist and Grace Apelquist. She is survived by: her sons, Dale Varsafsky of Tucson, AZ, Keith Varsafsky of North Huntingdon and Chuck Varsafsky of Greensburg; and her sisters, Linda Apelquist of North Huntingdon and Judith Hummell of North Huntingdon. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; six great grandchildren.
