He is survived by: his daughters, Joy Lapina of Irwin and Valerie Lapina (Eric Yarbrough) of Greensburg; his wife Gayle Lapina of Greensburg; his stepchildren, Lisa (Russ Matt) of Jeannette, Gerard "Bucky" Birk of Jeannette, Joey Birk of Jeannette and Terri (Rob Tiberi) of Hampstead, MD; and his siblings, Kathleen Allen (John), Terry Lapina and Bill Lapina. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
