Julia Schmidt Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Julia Schmidt (Jeannette, Pennsylvania), who passed away on August 18, 2019 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Opar and Anna Garrick Opar; and her husband Harry Schmidt. She is survived by: her children, Richard Schmidt (Cheryl) of Murfreesboro, TN and Christine Niemiec (Frank) of Claridge; her grandchildren, John Schmidt (Michelle), Matthew Schmidt (Erin) and Stephanie Niemiec Stempfer (Nathan); her great grandchildren, Abigail and Owen; her sister Dorothy Youngbauer of Jeannette; and her pet Malkin. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
