He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Schmitt and Geraldine Martchek Schmitt; his brother John Michael Schmitt; and his grandparents, Lucille and Edward Martchek.
He is survived by: his stepfather John Wagner; his uncle Glenn Martchek (Jen); his cousin Harlie Nave; and his niece Ashlee Samuels (Robyn McGhee).
