He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Volk and Wilda Volk (Buckley); his wife Barbara Anne Volk (Werner); his daughter Roxanne Gongaware; and his siblings, Don, Larry Volk, Ruth Casale, Wilda Bair and Phyllis Roscher.
He is survived by: his children, Kelly Marcelli (Dennis) and Craig Volk (Lori); his grandchildren, Sophia Marcelli, Corinn Wolfe (Cory Gaston), Amy Remillard (Scott), Katie Volk and Dan Gongaware; his great grandchildren, Vincent Gallone and Scarlett Remillard; and his sisters, Gladys Kurlej and Dorothy Passaro. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
