He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry C. Ruckel and Gladys Ruckel (Harris); his wife Mary Rita Ruckel (Bender); his daughter Rita "Dimples" Caldwell; his granddaughter Holly Grunden; and his brother Timothy Ruckel.
He is survived by: his children, Jean Elizabeth Bortz (Everett), Harry Von Ruckel (Xiomara), Eric Vincent Ruckel (Unhwa), Troy Augustus Ruckel and Angela Lynne Kegler (Joseph Crosby); and his siblings, Kenneth Ruckel (Margaret) and Debby Casto. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 1 great great granddaughter.
