He was predeceased by: his parents, David Serra and Helen Serra (Wnorowski); and his siblings, George Dopkosky and Helen Dopkosky. He is survived by: his wife Eileen Serra (Marco); his children, David Serra (Sherry) of Harrison City and Gina DeCaro (Michael) of New Stanton; his grandchildren, Zachary, Calista Serra, Michael A. DeCaro (Lauren) and Nicholas DeCaro (Courtney); his great grandchildren, Anthony and Mia DeCaro; his brother Robert Dopkosky (Lala); and his siblings-in-law, Antoinette Dopkosky, John Marco and Bobby Marco (Nancy). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions to the donor's favorite charity.
