He was predeceased by: his parents, William Long and Helen Long (Golomb); and his sister Carol Berlin. He is survived by: his wife Dolores Long (Terek); his children, Gerald A. Long, Jr. (Gina Burnett) of Adamsburg, Gregory Long (Heidi) of Greensburg and Justine Long of Jeannette; his sister Janet Riccardino (Donald) of Jeannette; his niece Barbara Ciarkowski (David) of Jeannette; his grandchildren, Dale Long and Hunter Long (Ashlynn Hemminger); and his great grandchildren, Izabella Long, Brentley Long and Jaxson Long. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
