He was predeceased by: his parents, John Kifer and Bernice Kifer (Smail). He is survived by: his wife Mary "Sue" Kifer (Kotarski); his children, Richard Kifer and Karen Prinkey (Mark); his grandsons, Jacob and Zachary Prinkey; his sisters, Marlene Tilson and Charlene Berlin; his siblings-in-law, Tillie Zuzich and John Kotarski; and his caregivers, Julia, Amanda, Redstone, Joni and Emily. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
