He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Boyd Shuster and Helen Shuster (Rathgeb); his wife Sally Shuster (Croushore); his daughter Cindy Omler; and his sister Margaret McCalmont.
He is survived by: his daughters, Carla Conte (Lou) of Jeannette and Corrie Rigney (Pat) of Jeannette; his grandchildren, Sean Connelly (Bethany), Jennifer Conte-Kramer (Tim), Adrienne Pratt (Jeff), Allison Omler (Casey), Mackenzie, Taylor and Cody Rigney; his great grandchildren, Henry, Georgia, Santino and Maverick; his sister Karen Piasecky of Greensburg; and his son-in-law Jeffrey Omler. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
