He was predeceased by: his parents, Julia Kelly and Frank Kovacs; his wife Dorothy; and his brother Frank Kovacs. He is survived by: his sisters-in-law, Eleanor Buck and Eleanor Kovacs; his children, Tracey Baginski (Joseph) of Greensburg, Teri Giffin (Bruce) of Monongahela, Mark Kovacs (Lori) of Greensburg and Julie Magee (Jim) of Jeannette; his grandchildren, Eric Giffin (Gina), Lacey Wallace (Jaison), Nicole Kovacs, Olivia Urbanic (Nick) and Mark Urbanic; his great grandchildren, Bryce and Tessa Wallace; and also Ruth.
Due to COVID restrictions, services were private.
