He was predeceased by: his parents, Sydney Thom and Josephine Thom (Cashman). He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Thom; his children, Gary (Janet Thom), Michael (Christine Thom), Deb (Bob Haugh), Sharon (Stan Potocki) and JoAnn (Dean Altemose); his sister Margaret Ellman; and his siblings-in-law, Claire and Don Colbert. He is also survived by his 11 grandchildren and his 6 great grandchildren.
