It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph E. Buonomo of Jamison, Pennsylvania, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 4, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Americo Buonomo and Justina Buonomo (Cacciola); his brother John Buonomo; and his son Steve. He is survived by: his wife Julia Buonomo (Bocchino); his sons, Joseph Buonomo (Michelle) and David Buonomo (Lynda); his daughter-in-law Regina Buonomo; and his grandchildren, Andrew, Erica, Nicholas, Michael, Karlie, Kristina, Steven, Jr. (Alexandra), Elizabeth and Matthew.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Joseph to Shriners Hospital for Children, PO Box 947765, Atlanta, GA 30394.

“My condolences to the entire family. I have known Mr. B since I was 14 years old. He was always good to me and I have fond memories of him thru the years at his favorite place, Ocean City, NJ. Steve and I were always playing volleyball off their beach on 45th Street. He always offered me something out of the fridge. "Jimmy, want a soda?" turned into eventually (as I had to earn it thru age) "Jimmy, want a beer?" He always had a story to tell about one of his kids or grand kids. Lots of love.”
