We are sad to announce that on September 25, 2019, at the age of 95, Betty Pirnick (Jamison, Pennsylvania), born in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Scherback Check and Joseph Check; her husband John Pirnick; and her siblings, Trude Check-Tuhy and William Check.

She is survived by: her daughters, Marybeth Toole (Michael) of Mt. Joy, PA, Dolores Adams of Bradenton and Dr. Jeanann Kahley (Gary) of Jamison, PA.; her brother Dr. Thomas Medard Check of Gwynedd Valley, PA; her nieces and nephews, Elena Tuhy-Walters, Dr. Tom Check, Maryrose Young, David Check, Bill Check, Georgie and Bobby Pirnick; her grandchildren, Stephen Toole (Brandy), Michael Toole (Kristen), Jason Toole (Vanessa), Lora (Ricardo Oliviera), Gemma Harris, Marit Adams, Blaise Adams (Mary) and Devon Kahley; and her children, Colin, Evan Toole, Callen Oliviera, Noah, Lucy Toole and Emory Rose Toole.
